Cross Brand Grass Stretcher

Cross Band Grass Stretcher is a supplement for green grass pasture situations. Can be used as a pasture extender for limited grass or will provide a good source of undergradable protein plus energy to compliment soluble protein in fresh grasses. Also provides mineral and vitamins and is a good vehicle for supplementing ionophores or CTC 50. Can be fed as need up to 2% of body weight per head. As pastures mature, (1st to middle of July) Cross Brand Grass Stretcher can be fed to extend pastures if grass is limited. If mature grass is adequate, switch to Cross Brand 30% Range Cubes fed at the rate of 1.25 to 2 lbs. per head. Range 30% will provide higher quality protein to help break down fiber in lower quality grasses. Range 30% used in this matter will promote cattle to digest mature grasses more effectively, thereby increasing grazing time and dry matter intake. Do not use Range 30% alone if forage is limited.
